A. Suresh, former personal assistant to legendary communist leader VS Achuthanandan, said here on Tuesday that he will not contest the leader’s son if he contests the assembly elections from Malampuzha.
Amid rumors that Mr Suresh would contest on the United Democratic Front (UDF) banner from Malampuzha after being expelled from the CPI(M) for alleged anti-party work, he said here that he would reconsider his decision if Achuthanandan’s son contested from Malampuzha.
Mr. Suresh said that CPI(M) State Secretary MV Govindan hurt him when he said he was involved in anti-party activities. “What have I done? I have never worked against the party,” he said.
