
On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the world sound visual and entertainment summit (Waves) 2025 at the Jio World Congress Center in Mumbai and called it a transformation platform that connects the creators, narrators, innovators and politicians from around the world.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the importance of Waves 2025 as a global platform that connects artists, innovators, investors and creators of politicians from more than 100 countries.
“Today, India appears as a global center of music, film and games. Given the flourishing of the orange economy, the Indian graphic and animation industry will face huge growth and will bring economic prosperity for the nation,” the Prime Minister said in his main lecture when he launched the world’s sound visual and entertainment summit in Mumbai.
“In the coming years, the creative economy can increase its contribution to Indian GDP. Today, India appears as a global center for film production, digital content, playing, fashion, music and live concerts … This is the dawn of the orange economy in India,” he said.

Mukesh Ambani: Screening of Industry Growth
Millionaire Industrian Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries, assumed that the Indian media and entertainment industry, currently worth $ 28 billion, could grow more than three times to $ 100 billion over the next decade.
“The Indian media and entertainment industry is now awarded $ 28 billion. It can grow to $ 100 billion over the next decade. This growth will lead to business, generate millions of jobs and create ripples across sectors,” Mukesh Ambani said.

Boney Kapoor appreciated the unified support from both the Indian Central Government and from the Maharashtra State Government for Waves 2025.
Boney Kapoor described the initiative as “fantastic” and expressed optimism that the summit would significantly strengthen the entertainment industry, gave the encouragement of PM modi and support governments.
“It’s a fantastic initiative,” Kapoor said at the summit, adding, “We had an encouragement of PM Narendry Modi. The whole government and the Maharashtra government support it. It’s a great step to strengthen the entertainment industry.”
