
The Engineering Summit, IEEE YESS’25, took place on Saturday (September 20, 2025) at the National Institute of Technology Kalicut (Nit-C). This event, organized by the Keral Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), combined over 6,000 students from more than 100 technical universities per nit-C.
Prasad Krishna, Director, Nit-C, started an event chaired by BS Manoj, chairman of the IEEE Keral section. The key address was delivered to the Sameer SM, elected chairman of the IEEE region 10. Sabik PV (Treasurer, section IEEE KERAL), Bijun Kunju (advisor, section IEEE KERAL) and Shihabudheen of Nit-C were listed.
The summit represented top exhibitions and showcases across various engineering sectors with a special focus on drones and artificial intelligence technology. Students had the opportunity to communicate directly with experts and industry leaders and to get information about applications in the real world and potential career.
