On Saturday, the Chapter of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) welcomed the Central Supreme Committee of the Padmavathi Sujath in Telangana, the General Police Inspector (Bastar Range) P. Sundarraj called it the main Maoist movement in the Dandakaranya area.
He said that a member of the Central Committee made a remuneration of 40 lamps and was searched in more than 72 cases registered in various districts in the Bastar series.
“Sujath with the surrender is a clear recognition of the futility of continuing violence in the face of a robust, multiple anti-Maoist strategy that was performed in Bastar. Proactive police efforts in combination with a strong government on development and well-being, weakened the influence of Maoists and disrupted their support base.
After Sujath’s surrender and killing Manoj alias Modem Balakrishna in an anti-naxal operation in the Gariyaband district two days ago, 11 Central Committees and members of the Policy Office remained in the Maoist ranks, he added.
Mr. Sundarraj said that in recent months the Maoists have suffered consecutive failures in the extent of Bastar and other left wing extremisms (LWE)-Chhattisgarh districts, including neutralization of leaders, large recovery of weapons and explosives, and dismantling more in their first.
“These permanent operations have denied their space to regroup or expand, and forced their highest leadership to lose their confidence in the future of clothes,” he said.
In reports on the news of the new Secretary General, taking over the reins of CPI (Maoist) after the post post remained free after killing Keshava Rao aka Basavaraju in May, Mr. Sundarraj said there was no clarity about who took over. “Instead, the bitter power struggle between nine, Son and other cadres – every desperately tries to catch this position and use the blackmail of money lined with an innocent village … At this stage no matter who is called the Secretary -General or Secretary of the area,” he said.
