
Domestic LPG cooking gas cylinders are adequately stocked in the district and are supplied without interruption. Deputy Commissioner Shreerup urged the public not to panic and reserve bottles only as per their actual requirements.
The district administration has held talks with all LPG distributors operating in the district to ensure regulated usage and uninterrupted supply. Officials confirmed that domestic LPG cylinders are in sufficient supply and that distributors will continue to supply cylinders to consumers as usual. Strict instructions have also been issued to all LPG distributors in this regard.
If consumers are facing any problems with LPG distribution, they can contact the helpline numbers provided by the administration for assistance. Contact numbers include Office of the Deputy Commissioner (Food), Chamarajanagar, on 08226-224660 or 9159466455; Sales Officer (HPC) at 9159466455; Sales Officer (BPC) at 9853735944; and Sales Officer (IOC) at 9448289912, according to a press release.

The deputy commissioner warned that strict action would be taken under the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 and related control orders if any unauthorized storage or illegal sale of LPG cylinders was detected. The public has been requested to cooperate with the administration in ensuring smooth and proper distribution of domestic LPG cylinders in the district.
