India announced a fourteen -member group for the prestigious Championship in Missired Team Sudrirman Cup, which is to be held in Xiamen in China, from 27 April to 4 May. While PV Sindu and Lakeshya dream will be the head of the singles campaign, a contingent that will be strengthened as a result of Satwiksairaira and Chirag Shetty.
HS prannoy and world no. 45 Anupama Upadhyay is two other singles, while Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto will perform in the mixed doubles category.
India qualified for the event of the Sudirman Cup, a mixed team’s biennial, through their overall world assessment. However, they were drawn in Group D – a challenging fund, which includes former Indonesia champion, as well as European powerhouses Denmark and England.

He stressed that India now has the power to compete in all five categories – male singles, women’s singles, male doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles.
“We are no longer dependent on one or two fields to win a tie, and therefore we make us impressive strength in any team event. We are convinced that the team will not only become in group phases, but can continue to create history by winning the medal.”
