Students of the Government High Secondary School, Vellarmal and Government Lower Mundakkai Elementary School, who attended classes in Mepadi GHSS after destroying their schools in Wayanad landslides last year, will visit classes with all facilities previously.
DGE at a press conference together with the Minister for General Education V. Sivankutty said that until the survivors are rehabilitated, students must continue education at the Mepadi School. For this reason, the school requires other facilities and buildings.
The Indian Building Association offers financial assistance CRORE 4 GBP and in this respect the agreement has been signed with an agreement.
Two buildings with a total of 12 rooms were to be built at the price of CRORE 2 GBP. In the first phase, eight classrooms, toilets and related facilities were built. Minister for Mr. Sivankutty will start the device online on March 30 in the presence of ministers, MLA and Wayanad deputies.
The second phase containing four classrooms and related devices will be completed by May, DGE said.
Another CRORE 2 GBP would be used to build a track for 100 students. Wayanad collector was asked to identify up to one acre for this.
