The concept of “science learning through standards”, which has launched by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), bridges the abyss between theory and practice in scientific education and will help students understand the importance of quality and standards, said BIS and Vijayawada Přem Sajani Patnal.
Mrs. Sajani explained the practical applications of scientific laws and principles for some commonly used products on Friday in terms of a two -day workshop organized by BIS, in cooperation with the State Council for Education in Andhra Pradesh.
Iyer Vijayalakshmi Kasinath called on the best prize by the Ministry of Education, urged mentors to participate in the activities of standard clubs to have better knowledge of quality and standards.
BIS makes efforts through “science learning through standards” to help students understand practical applications of scientific concepts, the director said.
Deputy Director of BIS D. Vivek Vardhan Reddy and a common controller, Legal Metrology, G. Rajesh Kumar explained the product certification, ISI Mark, Hallmark, registration stamp, legal metrology (commodity packaging) rules.
BIS officials and legal metrology submitted a presentation of laboratory procedures used to assess the quality of PVC pipes at the Central Institute of Petrochemical Engineering and Technology (Cipette) in Vijayawada.
