Students from several universities attended the World Tourist Celebration on 2025 at the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM) in Nellore. The event was the thematic “tourism and sustainable transformation” emphasized the importance of responsible and sustainable procedures in the tourism industry.
District tourism G. Ushashri started the program as the main guest. She motivated students to participate in competitions and contribute to the spread of awareness of watching good practices as tourists.
On this occasion, Sanjeev Reddy CK, node officer, Iittm Nellore, emphasized the need to build circulatory models of sustainable development, of which all parties involved are beneficial.
Meera S, a member of the Faculty of IITTM, encouraged students to follow innovative ideas to support sustainable tourism. IITTM, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism, the Indian Government, offers specialized academic programs such as BBA and MBA in tourism.
