
The preliminary investigation of the rural police Ernaculam failed to reveal any evidence that suggests that a 15 -year -old student who reportedly died suicide was under his school to ragging.
The report was presented to the Chief of the District Police (Ernakulam Rural) VAIBHAV Saxen by the Puthencruz Police. The investigation started after the victim’s mother asked the main minister and chief of the state police and claimed that ragging had made her son to take an extreme step.
“We do not categorize that there was no ogrging, but rather that we could not find any evidence if it had ever happened. We learned that the victim was sharing information about alleged ogrging with one of his cousins.
The investigation was limited to the accusation of ragging, while the rest of the investigation is carried out by the police Hill Palace under the municipal police in Kochi.
The deceased, student of the Global Public School of Class 9, allegedly jumped out of the 26th floor of his apartment in Thripunithura 15 January of this year. Police Puthencruz carried out a preliminary investigation because the school falls within their jurisdiction. The school in the communication also ruled out to be dedicated to any such incidents of ogrging.
According to school authorities, the boy’s family approached the alleged ogrging after some Instagram contributions and mentioned the names of other students after his death. The authorities argued that they had questions with students and parents who allegedly participated in the alleged incident of bullying, as a teacher and classmates to determine the truth of the claims. “The children allegedly involved in the incident together with their parents were again questioned by the police team and vehemently denied any such incident or unlawful conduct. The police team also did not recommend us to give any hasty decisions or actions against children without reports and finding them.
Since then, this case has been examining a special investigation team.
