The organization of democratic students of all India (AidSo), Mysur, welcomed a statement made on Monday by Minister of School Education Madhu Bangappa that even a single government school in the state was not closed due to low admission and that no such closure would be done in the future.
“We consider this to be a victory of the folk movement achieved through the unified efforts of thousands of students, parents, teachers and citizens who have entered the support of the 50 AIDSO signature campaign. Antia -ppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppPPPPPPPPPPPPOOP.
However, the government order to conclude and merger of low -acceptance schools is still valid. AIDSO therefore dismissed people to remain vigilant until the order was officially withdrawn, the release said.
Aidso also called on the government to take immediate steps to strengthen government schools by repairing and reconstructing more than 21,000 school buildings in the wrong state, and filled more than 61,000 free teaching positions, said Nithin, District Secretary, Aidso, Mysuru.
