On Friday, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah launched the “Deepika Scholarship” program at the Ministry of Higher Education in cooperation with the AZIM Primeja Foundation to support the university education of girls.
The scholarship provides 30,000,000 GBP annually to women who attended the course in front of the University (PUC) at government universities and enrolled in any general level, professional degree or diploma. It will benefit more than 37,000 girls from the academic year 2025-26. If more than 37,000 eligible students apply, the government will continue to provide scholarships to all qualified candidates.

“In this system, girls are provided to girls every year by 30,000 GBPs until they complete their study course.
