
The students who will lead the Children’s Day rally and public meeting organized by the Kerala State Council for Child Welfare and the State Government in Thiruvananthapuram on November 14 have been selected.
Durga Jishnu, a student of IV will be the Prime Minister for the children. class of the Government Teachers’ Institute, Manacaud, and Aradhana Praveen, a VII student, will be the president. classes of VPS Malankara Higher Secondary School, Venganoor. The lecturer will be Angel S., student VI. classes of the Government Higher Secondary School for Girls, Cotton Hill.
Prayag M., student IV. class from the Convent of Holy Angels, Vanchiyoor, will deliver a welcome address at a public meeting organized in connection with Children’s Day. Nivedya RL, Student IV. class from Carmel Higher Secondary School, Vazhuthacaud, will give thanks.
The child leaders were selected after the screening of the winners of the Malayalam elocution competition in the lower and upper primary categories at the Varnotsavam Children’s Day Art and Literary Competition organized by the council, its general secretary GL Arun Gopi said in a statement on Friday.

Nearly 25,000 students from various schools in Thiruvananthapuram district are expected to participate in the Children’s Day rally. The rally will include floats and programs that reflect the message of Children’s Day.
