The engineering student was found in suspicious circumstances on the railway lines between Ghatkesar and Bibinagar in Monday morning.
The victim, marked as twenty -year -old D. Hithavarshini, was the fourth year B. Tech student at a private engineering university in Ghatkesar.
Officer of the government railway police (GRP) said it was not clear whether it had fallen from a moving train, it was hit in the footsteps or died in another way.
Investigations are underway.
