Strong surface wind likely on July 8 in 12 districts of Telangana

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted strong surface winds in 12 districts of Telangana on Wednesday (July 8, 2026).

According to the latest IMD bulletin, strong surface wind speed of 50 to 60 kmph is very likely to prevail at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar district Bhupalpally, Mulugu and Bhupaldem.

It will be generally cloudy in and around Hyderabad city for the next 24 hours. “Light rain or drizzle accompanied by strong surface winds is very likely to prevail in the city. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 33 and 25 degrees Celsius respectively,” the bulletin said.
