Lucknow Super Giants Captain Rishabh Pant will withstand the forgotten season in the Premier League Indian. With only 151 runs in a strike of 107.09 of 13 matches, Pant’s worst performance in the history of the tournament. Despite the numbers, however, head coach LSG Justin Langer appreciated Pant’s character and team leadership.
During the game between Lucknow and Gujarat Titans spoke to the broadcast operator, Langer praised Pant for the durability he showed in difficult times. He reminded viewers of serious accidents that survived in December 2023 and intense efforts that made before returning to the international cricket.
“You always judge the character of a person as they go through difficult times. And Rishabh has remained consistent all the way. I really respect it. We all know what he has gone through in the last few years, but he is constantly performing, constantly performing, wanting to get out in the middle and he wants to fight hard,” Langer said.
“From this point of view, he did a really good job. You wouldn’t know, and that is a sign of a really strong person,” he added.
LSG deployed Command performance against board toppers Gujarat Titans On Thursday at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad. Mitchell Marsh and Nicholas Pooran joined to take the team to a huge total of 235, which the pitchers later defended with beliefs.
Since the LSG has already ruled out from the Play -off race, Langer emphasized the importance of completing the season on a positive remark.
“I think there is always a need to play. There are guys who have no great seasons who want to show off their talent, and as a team we respect that we haven’t been in the best case of the last few games. There is no apology but we want to show that we have a very good core.
LSG is currently sitting on 12 points out of 13 games and will play its last season of the season against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The victory would not only close their high campaign, but also prevented RCB from ensuring Top-DVA completion in the points table.
