Main Minister Assam Himanta Bisw Sarma said on Sunday (April 6, 2025) that the weakening of the side of Bharatiya Janata (BJP) would mean the position of obstacles to the way to become a world leader.

“We must remember that weakening BJP does not mean weakening an individual, but ideology and our national pride. It means creating obstacles on the way to get India to the world scene,” he said.

“Social media could be one of the greatest media,” he said.

It insisted that the northeast states would not develop without BJP to take attention to them.
“Similarly, the RAM Temple (in Ayodhya) would not be built, Section 370 would not be canceled from Kashmir and minority women would not get from Triple Talaq justice,” he said.
