On Monday, the street dealers from all over the city arrived on Monday’s complaints in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, complaints against pushcarts removal and non -implementation of street sellers (protection of the street sales) of the Act of 2014.
30 to 40 street dealers who arrived at the GHMC headquarters represented Hawkers from several areas, including Ameerpet, Dilsukhnagar, Kothapet, Saroornagar, Dilsukhnagar, Dammaiguda, Secunderabad and several others. They complained about the operating rope (removal of obstructive parking and interventions) through the traffic police, which mainly influenced the livelihood of pushcart sellers.
In the name of the operation, the police removed and destroyed pushcarts, they said. Although the sellers moved to lanes and stays, the sellers did not receive any relief and the police continued to impose fines and took weight, balance and commodities as a threat, they said.
“Recently, they have deployed countries to destroy Pushcarts near Saroornagar Ryth Bazar. The event was accepted without any warning and about 80 retailers were influenced. They haven’t had work in the last few days. How will they live?” Shree, director of non -formal workers and workers’ federation, who led the delegation along with the Federation of the National Hawkers Federation.
The 2014 street dealers’ Act exists only on paper, and a large number of suppliers have GHMC cards, but not allocated any sales space, complained.
Two retailers were selected from different places to represent this problem, said Mrs. SShree. Inside the Prajavan program, about four to five retailers were allowed to broadcast their complaint, while everyone else was forced to stay outside.
Meanwhile, two children from the mosapelet were brought to the program for the development of Colony Park. The space assigned to the park in Anjaneyanagar Colony was hit and was cleaned by the authorities, but £ 50 lakh sanctioned previously for the development of the park was not released, they said.
A total of 62 complaints were adopted at the GHMC headquarters, while 104 complaints were undergoing a program made in six zonal headquarters, which is informed of the GHMC statement. Most were complaints about the department of land -use planning.
