The day after the Supreme Court ordered the removal of stray dogs from Delhi-NCR streets, the legislative council echoed a matter where members urged the state government to seek a similar directive from the court, even though Chief Minister Siddaramaiaha called the “human approach”.
On Tuesday morning, the members joined the discussion of the threat of stray dogs after Janata’s member gave the (secular) SL Bhoj Gowd a problem and urged the state government to go to court to emphasize this problem.
People consider it difficult to walk on the streets, he said. “Children of lawmakers, ministers and bureaucrats are traveling to school in cars. However, we have to think about the public that faces stray dogs daily,” he said, pointing out several cases of vicious attacks throughout the state.
No provision on law
When the Minister of Rahim Khan said there was no provision to remove stray dogs from the streets and that they could only be sterilized and vaccinated, several members suggested that the government asked dog lovers to take care of the maze, if they really care.
Mr. Gowda, reflecting similar sentiments, said, “When the remaining streets are left in their premises, they understand the problem. They understand the problem. Dog cases are reported every day and the victims are even hospitalized.”
When the members urged the government to file a proposal before the Supreme Court to eliminate rest, the Minister stated that the Ministry of Law would be consulted in this matter.

Meanwhile, Mr. Siddaramaiaha said: “Taking wandering dogs as harassment to be removed is not administration. It is cruelty. Humane society finds a solution that protects drive and animals. Sterilization, vaccination and community work.
Thousands killed in Chikkamagalur
A member of JD (s) SL Bhoj Gowd claimed that more than 2,500 stray dogs were killed in Chikkamagalur when he was chairman of the city council.
“To address the threat of stray dogs, 2,500 dogs in coconut gardens and coffee goods were killed and buried,” he said.
He explained that at this point there were no laws against killing stray dogs.
