As she approached the dogs, the black dog attacked her almost immediately, while the frightened girl tried to defend herself. Another dog was also joined and the duo pulled out and bit it as she screamed in pain.

Many of them claimed that earlier complaints about the growing population of stray dogs were ignored by civil authorities.
Officials from the village of Bhatkal said they were monitoring the situation and planning to start sterilization and rescue driving soon.
