Sri Dayananda Swami of Vishwa prani Kalyan Mandali appealed to the governments of the Union and state governments to stop the defeat of cattle during the Bakrid festival through Karnataka.
In a letter to governments, he demanded that the slaughter of cattle and animal victims be forbidden that Bakrid falls on Saturday (June 7 this year) and the following days according to the provisions of the defeat prevention and the preservation of the cattle Act 2020 and the 1959 animal victims, the 1963 rules.
In support of his demand, he added copies of some of the Supreme Court orders and the Supreme Court.
Mandali members, including Uttam Chand Jajed, Suresh Runawal, Ashok Nagore, Sukhveer Jain and another letter signed.
