
Activists cast stones on the Senate campus in the Senate in Kerala University, Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday during a collision that broke out among students of students students of students.
The capital turned into a battlefield on Thursday, when the Senate of the Senate of Kerala University and University of Union descended into chaos and street violence in Keral University and University University.
The confrontation, which began at the University of the University of the Senate, soon spilled on the neighboring streets and even expanded near the MLA hostel. The stones were thrown by SFI activists from the university, while members of the KSU retaliation from outside. Almost 15 protesters were injured, which caused the police to resort to the allegations of Lathi for distraction of the crowd. Several activists were also injured after a related clash near College Mar Ivanios College.

The tension was reportedly expanded around 17:45, when the results of the counting of the votes began. Lightning was reportedly a victory celebration that took the competitive groups, leading to aggressive retaliation from both sides. Both student factions accused each other and the police of violence and provocation.
The scenes carried a striking similarity to last year’s September violence of the Senate, although this time the riots broke the walls of the campus and disrupted urban arterial traffic for more than an hour. The traffic police were forced to manually regulate the movement of vehicles in the middle of chaos.
When the police originally tried violence, with regard to the rocks flying and injuries, but later we managed to distract crowds by strengthening. Both groups filed complaints accusing the police of excessive force.
SFI appeared dominant in the elections of the university trade unions because it secured key positions across the Council. SFI candidates won the posts of the chairman, the Secretary General and the two positions of the secretary. They also packed two of the three seats of the vice -chairman, while KSU claimed one.
Trend
In the Executive Committee, SFI secured 11 chairs against four KSUs. The Committee has seen a similar trend for accounts when four seats went to SFI and one on KSU. He wrapped seven seats in the SFI students council, while the KSU managed to get three seats.
The vote for the Senate of the University of Keral continued late in the evening. According to preliminary results, the KSU has secured two seats, while the results for the remaining positions must be announced.
