Some Congress leaders are using the sting to divert people’s interest from the failure of the state government. It is now very clear that media reports of sting operations are nothing but a diversionary tactic, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi said on Sunday.
“What we see all around us are reports of sting operations. Instead of catching those who are involved in such sting operations, the state government is catching those who have released the videos. There is a lot of discussion about them but nothing else is happening,” he said.
He was speaking at a campaign meeting in Uttar Kannada’s Shejwad village for the party’s candidate in the SV Sankanur Legislative Council polls.
“When Union minister HD Kumaraswamy tried to give evidence of some sting operations, the Congress government tried to arrest his henchmen rather than using the documents to trace the real accused,” he said.
Mr. Joshi said the Congress was joining hands with traitors and traitors. There is a conspiracy to create anarchy in the country.
“The conspiracy is being funded by forces from foreign countries. Some foreign powers have conspired to destabilize the BJP-led Union government. It is likely that Cockroach Janta Party will join hands with Congress soon. But we all are sure that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will again become Prime Minister for the fourth time in 2029,” he said.
He said the Congress was suffering from depression due to series of failures. The Congress has no presence at all in some states, he added.
“For example, it has not won in West Bengal since 1977. Tamil Nadu has not had a single Congress minister for a long time before 2026. Congress has not formed a government in Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh for decades. The Congress is losing in the country because it does not have the strength to rise from the dust. But its leaders wonder why Prime Minister Narendra Modi is still winning, but he does not stop winning.
Congress leaders, including Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, treated former Legislative Council Speaker Basavaraj Horatti unfairly. “A 78-year-old leader who won eight elections was forced to resign by Congress leaders. Mr. Horatti said 20 MLAs came and forced him to resign. This is condemnable. But the NDA government will come to power in Karnataka in 2028,” Joshi said.
Former MLA Rupali Naik appealed to the Union Minister to take steps to solve the unemployment prevalent among the youth in the district.
BJP district unit president NS Hegde, former minister Anand Asnotikar, MLC Lingaraj Patil, BJP spokesperson Hariprakash Konemane, party leaders RD Hegde, Venkatesh Nayak, Guruprasad Hegde, Prashanth Nayak, Janata Dal(S) leader, Suraj Nayak, Soni, Bhatyak Nayak, RG Modrayak, RG Nayak Nayak and others were present.
