The Cochin shipyard was held a steel cutting ceremony for the second hybrid service (SOV) for North Star Shipping (Aberdeen), Great Britain.
James Bradford, Chief Technology Director of North Star Shipping, Jose VJ and Harikrishnan S. Of the Cochin shipyard were among those who participated.
Hybrid-Electric SOV from Hybrid-Electric SOV is designed by Vard as Norway. Vard 4 19 SOV is the second of two owls to build a cochin shipyard for North Star.
“The vessel will be powered by four sets of diesel diesel-generating diesel and high-capacity lithium-ion batteries in combination,” said the Loděnice press release here.
