
Police Sudduguunepalya, with the help of their counterparts Ashoknagar, traceded a 29 -year -old usual perpetrator who robbed motorists on Saturday by fake accidents in the city.
The defendant, Khan, Rajendranagar in Mysuru, reportedly moved on a scooter with a false numeric board. The accused would allegedly come across a scooter and threatened and robbed other motorists, the police said.
Using this Modus Operandi, the defendant robbed a 78 -year -old government employee on MG Road 2.
Based on the complaint, the police shared the details of the accused based on the CCTV shots, after which the Sudduguntepalya police traded the accused and arrested him on Saturday.
According to the police, the accused is involved in more than 24 cases in the city and its surroundings and even in Mysur and Srirangapatna.
“It does not use the phone and uses a scooter with a fake registration number,” the police said.
The defendant was reserved and transferred in judicial custody. The police are now considering opening a noisy letter against it, the policeman said.
