Union Minister for Civil Aviation K. Rammohan Naidu accompanied by Minister of State for Steel and Heavy Industries B. Srinivasa Varma unveiled a statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee during the Atal-Modi Suparipalana Yatra in Bhimavaram on Monday.
Addressing a public gathering, Mr. Rammohan Naidu urged the youth to study the life of Mr. Vajpayee. He said, “Mr Vajpayee is appreciated for building a strong national highway link in Andhra Pradesh. His efforts to develop North East India are also commendable.”
Mr. Srinivasa Varma appealed to the party cadre to attend the unveiling of another statue of Vajpayee by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan in Amaravati on December 25.
BJP Andhra Pradesh State President PVN Madhav, Health Minister Satyakumar Yadav, Rajya Sabha MP P. Satyanarayana, Deputy Speaker Raghurama Krishnam Raju and other members of the public participated in a cycle rally during the Atal-Modi Suparipalana Yatra.
