
The State Tax Department of goods and services (SGST) started nationwide raids against the allegedly organized rocket involved in the production and sale of disturbing diesel.
Approximately 500 intelligence and enforcement officers of the department are carried out by the inspection at approximately 40 locations, including production units and mediators’ residences, in eight districts.
According to the higher official of the department, these units participated in the recycling of industrial waste oil, added chemicals to it and sold it as a “bionaft”. Their customers were mainly fishing ships operators and quarry/crusher units that use them as fuel. The rocket also causes a significant tax loss of the state.
In the industrial area of the Palakakad district in Kanjikode, 13 units, many of which worked under the name “biorefinery”. In the district of Ernakulam, the inspection concerned 16 seats, most of them in the northern Kalamassery area. On Tuesday, four places in Thrissur, three in Malappuram were attacked on Tuesday, and one in Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Kollam and Kozhikode.
The inspection was still taking place at the time of the report.
The SGST department, baptized Fuego Marino, started on Tuesday morning. SGST official said that there is a reason for suspicion of organized settings behind the missile. The units have been under careful in the last three to four months.
In addition to the tax loss of the state, it is also assumed that profits from illegal business have also been directed to a money launch missile, the ministry said in its statement. In addition, the use of such illegal fuels could also cause damage to the environment and machinery used for operation, the department said.
The Department’s news wing also examines whether the missile has an interstate connection.
