A forty -year -old librarian, desperate for non -payment of salary in the last three months, ended her life on the premises of the Ariva Kendra Library on Monday Malkhed Village of Sedam Taluk in the district of Kalaburagagi.
The deceased, identified as Bhaggyavanti Aggimath, ended his life and left a note.
In her note, Bhagyavanti wrote that she was depressing that she had not met her family’s cash needs because she hadn’t paid her salary in the last three months.
The head officials did not realize their status despite repeated requirements because it had to meet the household expenses and pay the school fees of their two children, says the note.
Meanwhile, its family members survived officials of the Ministry responsible for her death and demanded compensation and employment for one of the family members.
