There was no progress in the Congress’s promise to formulate the Persian Gulf policy, and NRI even 22 months after it came to power, and the Congress government could not make a free number on Friday, which stated problems with Gulf immigrants.
He argued that the state government left 12 natives from Telangana who went to Jordan for their jobs and were imprisoned there, to their fate, without making any effort to bring them back. He demanded that the main Minister A. Revanth Reddy and the Ministers of the Telangan G. Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay Kumar take the initiative to get them back.
It was unfortunate that central and state governments did not provide any relief in the Gulf of Persian, despite repeated pleas. Workers, mostly from Nirmal, Kameddy, Nizamabad, Jagtial and Siddipet, were imprisoned in the Gulf countries for various reasons, but the governments were least harassed, he said.
The BRS leader said that those who were stuck in the Gulf countries could not return to their homeland, because their employers – companies that hired them – did not free them from the contract or did not pay any salaries. People who went to look for a living were returning during the BRS rule, but migration rose again in the congress regime.
He noted that Congress made several promises to workers in the Gulf of the Gulf of his manifesto Abhaya Hastham, but he couldn’t do any of them.
