The Karnataka government increased compensation of the deceased families in Stampede at the M. Chinnaswama stadium to 25 lakh.
Main Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday (June 7, 2025) ordered the compensation to increase to 25 lakh, statement from the main minister (CMO).
Previously, the state government announced the ex-Gratia 10 lakh.
