A wide-ranging display of new technologies and innovations greeted visitors on Monday, the first day of the two-day Telangana-2025 Global Summit at Bharat Future City not far from here, where several stalls attracted a lot of interest from delegates eager to see the state’s latest development and technology initiatives.
One of the delegates from Bengaluru said the event offered an impressive glimpse of Telangana’s emerging capabilities. “It is wonderful to see such a comprehensive display of technology and development in one place. The scale and quality of the exhibits reflect the state’s clear focus on innovation and its plans for development,” he said.
Spread across 100 acres in Ranga Reddy district, the event featured LED-equipped exhibits highlighting major government projects such as the Musi Rejuvenation project, State Police Cyber Security Pavilion and installations by aerospace technology companies such as Dhruva Space and Safran, ICOMM-MEIL, IIT Hyderabad and other government education agencies, Tour the Welfare and stalls.
Visitors walked through immersive attractions – including a digital tunnel, a sophisticated war room and themed zones depicting flagship initiatives such as Indira Mahila Shakti under SERP, Telangana.
A robotic welcoming committee with an interactive robot that welcomed participants and explained the goals of the summit contributed to the futuristic atmosphere. A friendly exchange with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, who toured the stalls along with Governor Jishnu Dev Varma ahead of the inauguration ceremony, created quite a buzz and turned the robot into a selfie hotspot.

Among the standout exhibits was a three-in-one hybrid bike designed by G. Gagan Chandra, a student from ZPHS Balmoor, Nagarkurnool. Its eco-friendly model – powered by solar energy, electric battery and manual transmission – can travel up to 30 km on battery power at zero cost, earning wide acclaim after its success at the National Science Fair.
Telangana Police has showcased its upcoming use of artificial intelligence drones for crime detection and tracking. “These drones will help with real-time aerial surveillance and identification of individuals with criminal records. Several other applications are being studied,” the officer explained.
Inaugurated by Tourism and Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, the Tourism Department’s booth promoted the state’s drive for global recognition. “We have included a digital display of tourist attractions and landmarks along with an interactive touch kiosk. Visitors can test their knowledge about Telangana tourist spots and win prizes,” he said.
Adding cultural richness to the technology-driven environment were performances by Kommu Koya, Gussadi, Oggu Dolla and Bonalu, who offered a vivid insight into Telangana’s heritage.
The site will remain open to visitors from December 10 to 13, offering hands-on exhibits and live demonstrations. There will be free bus service from MGBS, Kukatpally, Charminar, LB Nagar and other places, schedule details will be announced soon as per information available on official website.
