On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, the Chief Minister of MK Stalin distributed assistance to the former service in Chennai.
The Chief Minister of MK Stalin started the scheme “Mudhalvarin Kaakkum Karangal” on Tuesday, which helped the former soldiers receiving business.
Mr. Stalin has begun to distribute 155 to former soldiers who would receive a total of 24.43 Crore, including 30% of the capital subsidy for their business.
In the first phase of the system, a total of 348 recipients would receive 50.50 GBP, including 30% of the capital subsidy and 3% of interest subsidies, which are expected to reduce the financial burden for the former soldiers who receive business.
All applications received under the program would be recommended before the banks’ recommendation by the Committee for Working Group at the District level. A temporary sanction would be awarded after the bank inspection. Those who acquire a provisional sanction would be provided by training at the Institute for the Development and Innovation of Business in Chennai. Loans would then be sanctioned for their proposals.
Minister N. Kayalvizhi Selvaraj, the main secretary of n. Muruganandam and higher officials were present at the event.
