On Monday, the arrests of Jamm and the main Minister Kashmir Omar Abdullah claimed on Monday that the Government of the Union BJP systematically removes the rights of elected state governments.
“At a time when the demand for the restoration of Jamm and Kashmir’s statehood is increasing, existing events develop that there is a grim reminder of how far things have deteriorated,” Stalin said in a social media.
The chosen CM was included in the home arrest simply for wanting to pay homage to 1,931 martyrs and was forced to climb the wall to do so, said Stalin and then asked, “Is it how he should be treated with the elected Chief Minister”?
Mr. Stalin further said that this was not just one state or one leader, he said, “From Tamil over Kashmir, the Union BJP government systematically removes the rights of elected state governments.”
If it could happen in Kashmir, Mr. Stalin said: “It can happen anywhere, every elected representative of the people. Every democratic voice must clearly condemn it.”
