Tamil Nadu main Minister MK Stalin published two volumes of the book entitled Varalaru Koorum Tamil Natta Kaasugal (coins that speak of the history of Tamil Nadu) written by the Minister for Financing Thangama Thangas and Numismatic researcher Aurumuga sithaman on Wednesday.
The book casts light on the various types of coins used in the Tamil landscape over the last 2,000 years and how they developed throughout history.
Among those who were present at the opening of the book were the main Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, the main secretary of N. Muruganandam, Minister of Finance T. Udhayacandran, director of the International Institute of Tamil Studies R. Balakrishnan.
Meetings
The main minister and representative of the main minister also organized audit meetings with ministers and officials from the Ministry of the Municipal Administration and supply of water, commercial taxes and registration, towels and textiles and human resources management.
