Main Minister Tamil Nadu MK Stalin and representative of the main Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin on Monday appreciated R. Vaisali, who again became a champion at Fide Grand Swiss – one of the most prestigious events in the chess calendar.
In a post on the social media, Mr. Stalin congratulated Mrs. Vaishali to defend her title with peace and brilliance and secured her place in the prestigious tournament of candidates for candidates. “This victory is not only a personal milestone, but a celebration for Chennai, for Tamil Nadu and for countless young girls who now see their dreams that reflect on the world scene,” Stalin said.
A representative of CM, which also holds the portfolio of youth well -being and sport development, said he was pleased to know that her own Mrs. Vaisali Chennai received the main Swiss title Fide. Mr udhayanidhi, who described it as a rare act, said, “It’s a proud moment for Indian chess. I wish Vaisali many other victories in the upcoming tournaments and continuing success on the global scene.”
