SRM Faculty of Law welcomes 350 new students

SRM School of Law, which is part of SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), welcomed about 350 students to enroll in various LLB and LLM programs for the academic year 2026-27.

Justice V. Ramasubramanian, Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, urged students to take every opportunity to learn and recognize that legal education extends beyond the classroom to all aspects of life and society. He also inaugurated the Center for Human Rights Studies and the Center for International Humanitarian Law and Refugee Law at the SRM Faculty of Law.

ARL Sundaresan, Additional Solicitor General of India, emphasized the importance of discipline, integrity, professionalism and a career built on ethical values.

Vivek Sriram, Partner, Khaitan and Co., advised students to approach legal education with curiosity, resilience and an open mind. YSR Murthy, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Law), SRMIST also spoke.
