SRM University-AP made its debut in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2027, securing a spot in the 1001-1200 band in its first year of participation, according to a university management report.

According to the report, this recognition is the youngest private university in the country to achieve this award within 10 years of its opening. This milestone marks a significant step in the university’s emergence as a research-led institution, the management said, adding that it also makes it the first Andhra Pradesh university to achieve this honor during this period.

The university recorded an International Outlook score of 58.5, ranking fifth in the country in this indicator. Its research quality score of 55.4 further reflects the reach, influence and growing impact of the university’s scientific output within the global research community, management said.
