Governor Dr. S. Abdul Nazeer along with his wife will attend the 13th convocation ceremony of Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (SVVU) at its Tirupati campus on Monday (March 30, 2026).
The main guest of this occasion will be prof. Niteen V. Patil, Vice-Chancellor, Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University, Nagpur. Dr. JV Ramana, Vice-Chancellor of SVVU, will present the progress of the university from July 2023 to August 2024.
Addressing the media here on Saturday (March 28), Mr. Ramana said, “A total of 41 (27 constituent and 14 affiliated) institutions are functioning under the university to serve the state and its stakeholders in the domain areas of education, research and extension activities.”
“As many as 415 students will receive degrees and 17 students will receive a total of 38 gold medals for excellence in education during their studies. Several sponsored awards will be given to staff and students for their achievements,” he added.
