All the Lord Rama temples in Vizianagaram district wore a festive look on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami on Friday. On behalf of the state government, Minister for MSME Kondapalli Srinivas offered pattuvastrams to the presiding deity at the historic Ramateertham temple in Nellimarla constituency of the district.
Sri Rama Pattabhisekham was performed in the famous Ramanarayam Temple which is built in the form of Lord Rama’s bow. Elaborate arrangements have been made for devotees visiting the temple from various parts of the North Andhra region. Temples located in different parts of the district were seen hosting cultural and charitable activities. Devotees participated in ‘Sitarama Kalyanam’ at Ring Road, GT Road, Vasant Vihar Regency, Nagavamsapu Street and other areas.
