Police NTR commissioner created special teams for dugs from Delhi and other places that supplied Meth, addictive drugs, some vendors in Vijayawada.
Police Patamata arrested three persons, T. Jeevan Kumar, T. Tharun Prasad and T. Nitish Kumar, recently and confiscated 33 grams of Meth from their possession.
The defendants were drugs through one Manohar who had a connection with Delhi smugglers, the police said.
“The defendants have a connection with drug pedlers from Delhi and other places. The gang targeted students,” the investigative officers said.
Representative of the Police Commissioner (DCP) KGV Sarith said that the police were investigating deep into the rocket. ” One of the Peddlers is a student of an engineering university in Vijayawada, ” DCP said.
Inspector Patamata Circle V. Kishore Pavan told Hindu that special teams were created to charge the remaining accused in this case.
“The teams were sent to Delhi to arrest smugglers who supplied drugs to Vijayawady. We try to identify people who bought drugs from the gang,” he added.
