After the death of three people, including a four -year -old girl, on Saturday in the woriyur in Tiruch, special medical camps take place in several streets to project patients and give them medication.
Almost 40 individuals who lived on Panickan Street and Minnappan Street reported diseases involving vomiting and diarrhea in the last few days and have been admitted to the memorial government hospital Mahatma Gandhi and private hospitals for treatment. Three persons, namely M. Priyanka, 4, Latha, 60, and Maruthambal, 85, died.
The inhabitants argued that their health problems were caused by drinking water mixed with waste water. After the complaints, officials inspected the drinking water supply pipes in Moraiyur and two upper tanks were cleaned to supply water to the area. Drinking water supply was suspended and water is supplied to the affected areas to wards 8 and 10 through trucks.

The team of workers deals with the identification of pipeline leakage or damage in areas, if any, causes water contamination and a drinking water sample has been taken and sent for analysis.
According to officials, more than 39 cases of diarrhea and vomiting were reported on Saturday. Subsequently, special medical camps on Minnappan Street, Kalyan Street, Agraharam Pandamangalam, Muslim Street, Nadar Panikan, Fathima Nagar, Linga Nagar, Kavalkara Street and Aravanur street to check and follow the condition of the population.
“Drying cases have decreased and the area has been supervised by health supervision. So far, the door to door, including antibiotics, zinc tablets, and oral rehydration salts are underway.
