A special court in Bengalur refused to dismiss the former Hassan Member Prajwal Revann in an alleged case of sexual assault and pointed out that there was enough material against him to create fees against him.
Santosh Gajanan Bhat, a judge of a special court for a meeting for criminal cases against former and current deputies and MLA, said “materials and digital evidence obtained during the probe create strong and serious suspicion with regard to the Commission of the alleged incident” for the court.
When viewing the declaration of other witnesses as well as the materials collected by the investigative agency, the court stated that this material “clearly asks the grave in terms of the crime commission, and as such a question of the release of the accused on the above aspects.”
It is necessary to “assume that no woman comes to court to make a statement of her own Cudnota, which is considered much more important than alive in normal Indian traditional society,” the court said.
In this case, it was argued that Prajwal had sexually attacked home aid in his Gannikada Farm House in the Hassan district and also in his house in Basavanagud in Bengalur during Covid locking in 2021.
