The teams of the government railway police and the forces of the railroad together performed a special anti-Ganja Drive at the Vizianagararam police station as part of their goal to liberate the railway station before drug threat and anti-social elements.
Officials, including the sub-inspector V. Balajee Rao from GRP and RPF Inspector R. Kumar Rao and Sub-inspector B. Sridhar, led the program and checked all important places such as platforms waiting for the hall, dining room and more. They verified bags of suspicious people and passengers without tickets. These three special teams carried out inspections on several trains, including Samatha Express. They asked the travelers to inform GRP and RPF if they hit the sale or consumption of Ganja and other drugs in and around the railway station.
