
The Space Park will allow Kerala to scalance new heights in space research and lead to the benefits in the Space Industries sector, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
He spoke after laying the foundation stone for common facilities and research and development centers Keral.
Mr. Vijayan also opened the Kerala Aero EXPO 2025-complex case of Indian cosmic heritage, success and future missions held on Thursday at the Technocity area in Pallipuram.
He said that in these interventions the state government takes a new step in the field of space research under the name K-Spacer. K-space activities will be organized to encourage new companies that enter the field of research and defense of space and also cooperate in conjunction with existing companies.
“The Spara Park Kerala is an important intervention assumed by the government of the left democratic front (LDF) to supply the Keraly sector for cosmic research research. It is based on Thiruvananthapuram, which has many institutions that can claim a great tradition in space research. Mr.Vijayan.
Dodarable Space Park institutions will also be founded in Kozhikode, Kochi and Kannur. Construction of buildings covering 2 lakh square foot on 3.5 acres of land for space park will be completed in the first phase. For this purpose, the amount of 244 crore will be available via NABARD.
