The conditions are favorable for the southwestern monsoon to proceed around some other parts of the middle and adjacent East India around 14 June, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Tuesday after a slow week.
The southwestern monsoon has already covered the southern states, some parts of Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and the whole northeast.
