The southwestern monsoon is expected to withdraw from Telangana around its normal date on October 15, according to A. Dharma Raju, a scientist at the Indian Center of Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad.
In an interview with Hinda, he said that most northern parts of the state were already experiencing a retreat of monsoon rains, and the download process is likely to be completed in the coming days.
The scientist stated that while the sky may remain partially overcast in some areas, temperatures across Telangana show a gradual increase. “From now on, the highest temperature is recorded in October around 33 ° C, while a minimum floating around 32 ° C,” he said.
Cities like Hyderabad are expected to record a maximum temperature of about 32 ° C, while districts like Nalgonda and Suryapet can take temperatures approaching 33 ° C.
Regarding the onset of colder weather, Mr. Raja said that residents can expect temperatures to decline mostly in the last week of October, which signals the gradual arrival of winter conditions. He added that this formula is typical of this month and the current heat is in line with seasonal expectations.
