
The School Leadership Academy-Kerala, functioning under the State Institute of Education Management and Training-Kerala (SIEMAT-Kerala), will organize the Southern States Regional Seminar to provide national exposure to new ideas and activities implemented in government and aided schools in Kerala and to analyze and implement models presented by other states.
General Education Minister V. Sivankutty will inaugurate the three-day seminar at Hotel Dimora on Tuesday, November 4 at 10 am.
Headmasters of schools in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Lakshadweep; researchers; teachers and students; and educational activists will present case studies, research papers and best models of school education during the seminar.
National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration Vice-Chancellor Shashikala Wanjari will deliver the keynote address at the event, which will be presided over by Chief Education Secretary K. Vasuki. NSK Director of General Education Umesh will be the chief guest.
