Southern Railway sanctioned a holiday on Loco pilot, whose request for a holiday to take care of her wife was originally rejected.
According to Railways sources, Loco Pilot Bibin was on duty, which on the night of April 7 sent the train to Mangalore in the Palghat division.
After reaching the goal, he used the holiday and said he had received an emergency call from his pregnant wife in Truvallle in Kerala, that she had developed working pain. He took another train to his house and admitted his wife to a private hospital, where she delivered a boy next morning.
However, his holiday was rejected for no reason for any reason. Mr. Bibin received a message that from 8 April 2025 he was marked as absent from duty.
After the problem was released on Saturday in Hind, the sources said Mr. Bibin received a call from the main crew Mangalore Depot, which reported that his request was awarded for five days. Four days (8-11 April), which are considered “absent from duty”, would also be regularized and considered a holiday, said sources.
