A 22-year-old woman, the daughter of a senior Indian Revenue Service (IRS) official, was raped and killed at the family residence in south Delhi’s Kailash Hills in the early hours of Wednesday, police said.
The accused, 19-year-old former domestic help, Rahul Meena, was nabbed from a hotel in Dwarka in the evening, police said, adding that the youth was on the run after harassing a neighbor in his native village of Rajgarh in Rajasthan’s Alwar district on Tuesday. He was arrested under several sections of the BNS, including those related to rape, murder and robbery.
