South African High Commission official to visit Andhra University

Sedula Mashudubele Mamabolo, Adviser (Bilateral Relations), South African High Commission, New Delhi, visited Andhra University on Friday to discuss educational opportunities for South African students and academic engagement between the university and South Africa.

Mr. Mamabolo discussed with the Dean, International Affairs, S. Paul Douglas, and the Director of the Center for Distance and Online Education, DA Naidu, opportunities for South African students to pursue higher education through the university’s online and distance education programs.

Discussions covered institutional links, student mobility and student outreach in South Africa. Mr Mamabolo also interacted with South African students at the university to understand their academic experiences, opportunities and challenges.

Later he met the Registrar of Andhra University Rambabu who welcomed and thanked him. Mr Douglas said the university wanted to strengthen international partnerships and expand opportunities for international students.
